ACCESSIBILITY
Make your content accessible to everyone
An app is a great tool to make information and stories accessible to many. By customizing the content; subtitling films, adding sign-interpretaion, like in the example from the Historical Museum in the picture on the left, offering both sound and text, writing plain language and making sure to have sufficient contrast you will get far.
But, the app itself must also be adapted to different functional variations. And that is our responsibility. We follow the guidelines for the Swedish public sector and are constantly working to make the app better – for everyone.
The app is compatible with your phone’s screen reader.
All images can have a text option (Alt-text) that is read aloud. Images with a purely decorative function can be muted.
Movies can have several variants of subtitles that the user can choose from.
